I hope you will enjoy your time spent learning about the piano. My goals are to actively engage my students in reaping the joys of all aspects of music and encourage them to reach their full potential. I treat each of my students as individuals, and cater every lesson to their specific needs and strengths. I am always open to any questions you may have, and you are free to contact me at any time.
I am a graduate of Lawrence University where I studied with Dr. Michael Kim who is now Dean of Music at Brandon University in Canada. I have also studied briefly with Dmitry Novgorodsky and Emma Tahmizian. My training is classical, though I also enjoy jazz and musical theatre. I have played piano with various orchestras for community theatres in the Milwaukee area, as well as accompanied for student performers in the Milwaukee and Appleton school districts. I aim to continually view myself as a student in hopes to serve better as a teacher.
